3 Youths from Nagarkurnool die in car mishap
Three youths were killed on the spot, and two others suffered injuries when the car in which they were travelling crashed into a tree near Pothunoor bus stage under Peddavoora mandal in the district
Nagarjunasagar (Nalgonda): Three youths were killed on the spot, and two others suffered injuries when the car in which they were travelling crashed into a tree near Pothunoor bus stage under Peddavoora mandal in the district. The deceased were identified as K Ajay (22), P Jayanth (21) and T Santosh Reddy (25). They all hailed from Nagarkurnool district.
According to sub-inspector of police B Raju, the accident happened when the youth were returning from Bapatla beach in Andhra Pradesh. When the car reached Pothunoor, the driver could have dozed off at the wheel, leading to the accident, the sub-inspector said.
The injured are undergoing treatment at Kamala Nehru Hospital in Nagarjunasagar. Bodies were handed over to the family members after conducting autopsy.
