CPM to launch padayatra for Bayyaram steel plant

Kothagudem: A padayatra program will be conducted by the CPM party on July 25 for getting the Bayyaram steel plant project, said the party’s State secretary Thamineni Veera Bhadram on Wednesday.
Addressing the media, he said padayatra program will be conducted from the hills of the Bayyaram on July 25 for getting the project. He called to the workers to fight for the Bayyram project. He questioned why the TRS government is not raising the the Bayyram steel plant issue.
The CPM leader asked the state government to give the pattas immediately to the poddu lands of tribals in the district. The party will conduct a meeting on the issue with the podu farmers on July 26, he added.
“After the completion of 70 years of independence, the people are still suffering and there are no health facilities in the agency area,” he said. He also demanded the government to announce the health emergency in agency areas immediately.
CPM leaders Pothineni Sudharshan, K.Ilayaia, A.Kanakaiah, Matcha Venkateswarly, A.J Ramesh, G.Dharma, Y.Ravi Kumar, A .Satyanarayana and other leaders participated in the meeting.
