Khammam: A student of Resonance School SD Farid won the gold medal in the long jump event for boys under-16 years category in the recently concluded athletics championship held here recently under the aegis of the Khammam District Athletics’ Association.
School directors RV Nagendra Kumar, K Sridhar Rao and Neelima said that the Resonance School students proved that they are ahead not only in academics but also in sports and games.
They asked the students to show enthusiasm to take part in sports and games. Sports and games provide entertainment and pave the way for physical and mental development. School principal, teaching and non-teaching staff, students and physical director congratulated the winner.
