Hyderabad: Osmania University on Friday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with four different institutions for various tasks. An MoU between Osmania University and Telangana State technology Services Limited (TSTS) AUA / KUA was signed towards Aadhaar authentication services for biometric attendance services. This is in tune with the decision of the State government which planned to introduce biometric attendance in universities in the State.

The university signed three other MOUs – two to strengthen academics and one other on automation. An MoU was signed with Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) to offer CIMA qualification to the B Com (Hons) students as an Integrated Programme and another with NSDL Database Management Limited of NDML to enter into level agreement with Osmania University to lodge academic award to its students / awardees from the current academic year and also previous academic years in NAD Portal.

The university signed an MoU with State Bank of India Hyderabad to avail the SBI FAST (CMP Internet Portal) by extending SBI e-payment solutions for salary and vendors payments.
