Hyderabad: Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao on Friday inaugurated flyover at Kamineni hospital junction. It was built with an estimated cost of Rs 49 crore under Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP).

He said that LB Nagar is one of the key areas in Hyderabad and SRDP works worth Rs 450 crore takes place in the constituency. The Minister assured to complete flyover at Mindspace within one month and inauguration of LB Nagar ring road flyover within six months. KT Rama Rao said that Hyderabad will become Mega City by 2030. He said that SRDP works worth Rs 23,000 crore takes place in and around Hyderabad.

GHMC commissioner Janardhan Reddy said that 944 metre flyover was completed within 16 months. He said that they are constructing flyovers to avoid traffic problems. Transport Minister Mahender Reddy said that they are allotting Rs 46,000 crore for development of roads in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts.

Local MLA R Krishnaiah hailed KTR for his efforts on making Hyderabad as world class city. Telangana martyr Srikanth Chary’s mother, Kasoju Shankaramma asked the government to name the flyover in her son’s name. MLA Teegala Krishna Reddy, MLC Karne Prabhakar, GHMC Mayor Bonthu Rammohan, MBC corporation chairman T Srinivas, TRS party LB Nagar in-charge M Rammohan Goud, corporators Vittal Reddy, M Lakshmi Prasanna Goud, Jinnaram Vittal Reddy, Padma Naik were present on the occasion.
