Hyderabad: Even as the TRS leaders are yet to come out open on early polls to the State Assembly, the party MP Sitaram Naik said that the visit of another MP B Vinod Kumar to Election Commission of India was to clarify whether it could go for elections in the State along with four other States in December.

The TRS leaders have been saying that there was no talk of early elections in the State within the party. Even the Municipal Administration Minister K T Rama Rao on Sunday said that the party did not say that there would be early elections and the talk about it was only in media. However, he said that clarity would come within four to five days and the party was ready for early elections whenever they were held.

During a discussion in Telugu news channel HMTV, Sitaram Naik said that Vinod Kumar had gone to Election Commission with regard to elections in December. “We have given letter to the Election Commission asking whether they would will take us along with four other States for elections in December,” said Naik. In a meeting at Telangana Bhavan on Monday, KTR said that the news in various newspapers and TVs were appearing like the elections were around the corner. He said, even the party activists have come into the election mood.

“Big boss will see when the elections will come. They (media) write early elections would come and they again pose question whether elections will come or not. The opposition parties should be ready whenever elections come... why they are afraid,” said KTR.

The TRS leader said that there was nothing which could be shared between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and TRS. “We are fighting with the Centre tooth and nail, but he is (Prime Minister) appreciating our schemes in Parliament..,” said the Minister.
