Hanamkonda: Pragathi Nivedana Sabha will remain as a never before event in the history of Indian politics, Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari asserted. Speaking to media persons at the Circuit House here on Friday, he said that more than three lakh people will attend from erstwhile district of Warangal.
“The Kongara Kalan meeting on September 2 would reflect the TRS government’s workmanship under the leadership of K Chandrashekar Rao. It’s apparent that KCR robbed people’s hearts with an effective administration and governance in last four years,” Srihari said.
Referring to the TRS government’s initiatives, he dared the Congress and BJP leaders to show such welfare schemes in states ruled by them. “It’s better if the Congress leaders stop the criticism against the TRS government,” he said.
Srihari said that Congress has a chief minister candidate in each district, but I wonder if they win the next elections. TRS will surely win 100+ seats in the next elections, he added.
Further he advised the Congress leaders not to think of a public meeting on the lines of Pragathi Nivedana Sabha and fall flat. He said that they have arranged 1,250 RTC buses, 1,700 school buses, 997 trucks, 1,150 tractors and 3,380 cars to mobilise the crowds for Kongara Kalan meeting.
MPs Pasunuri Dayakar, A Sitaram Naik, Whip B Venkateshwarlu, Mayor N Narender, TRS district president T Ravinder Rao and state observer E Krishan Reddy were among others present.
