Government teachers feted on Sarvepalli’s birthday at Fathenagar
Madhavaram Kantha Rao, Medchal BJP district president, on Wednesday garlanded the portrait of former President Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and felicitated some government teachers in connection with the Teachers Day celebrations
Fathenagar: Madhavaram Kantha Rao, Medchal BJP district president, on Wednesday garlanded the portrait of former President Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and felicitated some government teachers in connection with the Teacher’s Day celebrations.
Addressing the function, Rao stated that many sages had acted as gurus to bring about a radical change in the country. ‘People can learn a lot from the Thakshashila and Nalanda universities, which represent bhratiyata, to scale great heights. People should inculcate the habit of imparting their knowledge to others. Students must make it a practice to respect their parents, teachers and guests’.
Among those present were BJP district vice-president J Srikar Rao, division president Burugupalli Rammohan, Shastri, Karthik, Pavan, Ajay.
