Mahbubnagar: Taking charge for the second time as the Superintendent of Police of Mahbubnagar district, Rema Rajeshwari, promised that apart from providing safety and security, she would also ensure the police department puts all its efforts in the overall development of the people in the district.
Earlier, Rema Rajeshwari had served as SP of Mahbubnagar for about 2 years and was later transferred to Jogulamba Gadwal. However, during the recent reshuffle of IPS officers across the State of Telangana, Rema Rajeshwari was again posted to Mahbubnagar.
While taking charge as SP of the district, Rema Rajeshwari said, “as a police superintendent of the district I shall ensure that the police department whole-heartedly delivers its duties of not just providing safety, security of the people but also maintain the law and order and keep a tab on the anti-social elements. Not just that the police department will also extend its helping hand in the overall development of the district and play a key role in uplifting the poor, downtrodden and the underprivileged in the district,” said the SP.
The SP observed that she is already well versed with the district and its people and with people’s support she expressed confidence that the police department will succeed in their endeavour of providing security and maintaining law and order in the district.
“The police officers at all levels in this district are skilled, dedicated and committed and hard working in nature. Because of this we were able to establish peace and secure environment in the district,” she said.
She hoped the same support and encouragement both from the people and the police officers would continue and ensure the police department would while providing a friendly policing to the people on one hand will also do its bit of keeping law and order under control and see the crime rate in the district come down drastically in the coming days ahead.
