Musheerabad: Only BJP can ensure people’s welfare, claimed State unit president and former Musheerabad MLA Dr K Laxman here on Friday. He was speaking at the concluding session of the week-long ‘Basti Bata’ programme in Indiranagar, Sainagar, P&T Colony highlighting the welfare schemes implemented by the Centre and the ‘anti-people policies’ of the TRS government. The BJP leaders took out cycle rallies in the localities.
Launching the rallies, Dr Laxman alleged that the TRS government had neglected people’s problems in the last four-and-a-half years. It could not find solutions to the city’s problems because of fund crunch. He claimed that the people were unhappy with the State government because of its anti-people policies. The party activists distributed pamphlets to the residents in the localities. Among those present were Bholakpur division president K Mahesh Kumar, Nityanand, Ramesh.
Meanwhile, in Ramnagar division, state BJYM president G Bharath Goud accused the caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao of implementing the ruling party’s agenda. He and other party leaders conducted a campaign in Lambada Basti of Ramnagar division. Goud stated that the TRS government had totally failed to honour the party’s election promises. As a result, there was no development. Among those present were Ramnagar divion president Kalakota Arunkumar, leaders Bhagwath, Srinu, Bansilal.
