A girl was crushed under wheels of a speeding lorry when she was crossing the road with her mother on Monday This incident took place at Gowri Kunta Thanda of Mallepally mandal in the district The deceased was identified as Nikitha 8 daughter of Ramavath Ramesh and Sunitha Couple
Konda Mallepally ( Nalgonda): A girl was crushed under wheels of a speeding lorry when she was crossing the road with her mother on Monday. This incident took place at Gowri Kunta Thanda of Mallepally mandal in the district. The deceased was identified as Nikitha (8) daughter of Ramavath Ramesh and Sunitha Couple.
According to the sources, Nikitha was class second student of Krishna Veni School in Konda Mallepally. A speeding lorry heading towards Konda Mallepally from Nalgonda hit the kid Nikitha while she was crossing the road along with mother Sunitha to go to their agriculture field located other side of the road.
Severely injured kid Nikitha died on the way to the Government Hospital in Devarakonda for treatment. On the complaint of the parents police registerd a case and took up the investigation. Devarakonda former MLA R. Ravindra Kumar, Congress leader Bilya Naik met the bereaved family members and expressed their deep condolence to them.
