Amaravati: YSRCP MLC Vennapusa Gopal Reddy appealed to Pay Revision Commission to provide 66 percent of fitment. He met the Commission Chairman Ashutosh Mishra at AP Secretariat on Thursday along with YSRC Teachers Federation members and submitted a memorandum in this regard. They further asked the Commission to reduce the PRC revision period from one-year to six months.

Meanwhile, the AP Secretariat Employees Coordination Committee members also submitted a memorandum to the Commission demanding the effective date of implementation of new pay scales be from July 1, 2018, with monetary benefits. They also asked to fix minimum pay of Rs 24,000 and maximum pay of Rs 2,44,440 with increment at 3 percent and 82 slabs.

The employees also asked to abolish the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) and increase the ceiling on payment of gratuity upto Rs 23 lakh. They also demanded to allow accumulation of earned leaves up to 330 days.
