Khammam: Cinema actor and TDP MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna will unveil the statue of former AP CM and party founder NT Rama Rao in Madhira on October 1, informed TDP district president Tulluri Brahamaiah on Thursday.

Addressing the media persons at the TDP office, Brahamaiah said that Balakrishna will reach Khammam in the morning and will visit Madhira where he will inaugurate NT Rama Rao’s statue at Dundukuru village.

Balakrishna will also participate in various programmes organised by the TDP in Madhira mandal, he added. The TDP MLA will address a massive rally in Thallada, Sattupalli, he informed.

Commenting on advancement of the elections, Brahamaiah alleged that unable to rule for complete five years, the TRS party dissolved the Assembly before nine months of time. Fearing that it may face severe problems after completion of five year of tenure as it did not fulfill its poll promises made to the people during the 2014 elections, CM KCR dissolved the Assembly, he added.

The TDP party may contest in three Assembly segments and a fitting lesson would be taught to TRS party by defeating it in coming up elections through grand alliance, he said.
