The three-day ‘Telangana Food Festival’ at People’s Plaza, Necklace Road, concluded on Sunday. Inaugurated on Friday by Burra Venkatesam, Secretary of Tourism and Culture, the food festival is first of its kind in India with over 100 stalls displaying culinary treats of the state.

The event was organised by the Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation to bring diverse food cultures into one stage. The festival had a medley of options from authentic flavours to traditional dishes, from modern cuisine to food inspired skill and fresh new concepts to local dishes at the premises.

The food fest witnessed various readily available and fresh food options ranging from Hyderabad cuisine, Telangana delicacies and few from national and international cuisines. The organisers said that it’s a one-stop for all food lovers of twin cities and would be an annual event from this year. The three-day festival was visited by scores of people across the twin cities. This became a landmark event for twin city residents that would rejuvenate them in a celebratory mood on the occasion of Dussehra and Navratri.

At the festival, there were specially curated programs like cooking contests, live kitchen facilities, lifestyle stores and other entertainment activities were organised. Onlookers of the city had a great experience during the festival.
