Kukatpally: Journalists belonging to Mojo TV staged protest at Gandhi statue located at KPHB Road No. 1 on Thursday. They were protesting against attack on their TV reporter and cameraman at Vijayawada on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, they condemned the attack by anti-social elements on journalists who offer self-less services to society.
They demanded union government to pass strict laws to prevent such attacks on journalists in future and punish those indulge in such violent activities. Local corporator Jupalli Sathyanarayana, Deepak, Kukatpally press club president Prabhakar and journalist union leaders and journalists participated in the protest.
