Eminent scholars to speak at MBT meet
Eminent Islamic thinker Moulana Syed Salman Ashraf Jayisi and a galaxy of Islamic scholars will address the 27th JalsaeRahmatul Muslimeen, the public meeting being organised by the Majlis Bachao Tahreek MBT on Saturday to mark Rabiulawal Islamic Month
Chanchalguda: Eminent Islamic thinker Moulana Syed Salman Ashraf Jayisi and a galaxy of Islamic scholars will address the 27th Jalsa-e-Rahmatul Muslimeen, the public meeting being organised by the Majlis Bachao Tahreek (MBT) on Saturday to mark Rabi-ul-awal (Islamic Month). According to Secretary reception committee Md Amjed Ullah Khan, prominent Islamic scholars from across the country would address the historic meeting at Government Junior College Grounds in Chanchalguda. Eminent scholars including Moulana Shamshad Ahmed Chaturvedi (Farakhuabad) and Dr Hafeez-ur-Rahman, Professor of Jawaharlal Nehru University (Delhi) will also address the meeting, to be supervised by MBT President Md Majeed Ullah Khan Farhat.
Imam and Khateeb of Jamia Masjid-e-Mehedviya, Moulana Syed Bakhtiyar Aalam, Zakir-e-Ahle Bait, Moulana Ali Murtaza Sahab Qibla and Sunni Ulema Board's General Secretary, Moulana Haseeb-ul-Hassan Siddiqui will also address the meeting. The meeting will begin with the recitation of Holy Quran by Qari Ghulam Ahmed Niazi. Guest poets Sharf Nan Parvi and Shayer-e-Islam Qari Mohammed Jahangir (Lucknow) will get the honour of reciting Naat-e-Shareef of Prophet Mohammad.
Amjed Ullah Khan said that through Jalsa-e-Rahmatul-lil-Aalameen, the MBT has been spreading the message of peace and brotherhood not only among various sections of Muslims, but the entire society. It was in 1993, when MBT founder late Gazi-e-Millat, Mohd Aman Ullah Khan (Ex MLA) began this initiative of spreading the teachings of Prophet Mohammad among the people belonging to different sects and religions. Through this meeting, late Aman Ullah Khan successfully promoted peace, tolerance, mutual respect, brotherhood and communal harmony in the city. Elaborate arrangements are being made for the smooth conduct of the meeting which witnesses one of the biggest gatherings in the sub-continent to celebrate the birthday of Prophet Mohammad. Separate seating arrangements have been made for women. Amjed Ullah Khan has requested the Muslims to participate in large numbers to listen to the thought-provoking speeches of noted Islamic scholars.
