Day care centre for senior citizens opens
A senior citizens day care centre was inaugurated by the District Collector RV Karnan and MLA Puvvada Ajay Kumar on Thursday Speaking on the occasion District Collector said the day care centre was constructed as the cost of Rs 32 lakh
Khammam: A senior citizen’s day care centre was inaugurated by the District Collector RV Karnan and MLA Puvvada Ajay Kumar on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion District Collector said the day care centre was constructed as the cost of Rs 32 lakh.
He also praised the municipal staff for constructing the centre fast. The Collector appealed to the senior citizens to maintain the centre properly. MLA Puvvada Ajay Kumar informed that a medical camp for the senior citizen would be conducted for the senior citizen and medicines would be given for free.
He also informed that five Annapurna centres would be opened in the district that would give meal for only five rupees. Mayer Dr Papa Rao, Commissioner J Srinivas Rao, Welfare Officer R Vala Laxmi, library chairman V Narasimha Rao and other officers attended the programme
