Bank employees’ strike troubles people

Nalgonda: People of Nalgonda, Suryapet and Yadadri- Bhongir districts felt lot of inconvenience due to strike of bank employees on Friday. The bank employees staged protest over reviving of payscales on workmanship of officials under 11th pay revision scale by the banks’ management.
People will have to face similar problems for four more days due to continuous holidays Viz fourth Saturday on 22, Sunday on 23, on Monday 24 banks will works as usual again but will be closed on December 25 because of Christmas festival.
On call of All India Bank Officers Confederation, bank staff of nationalized banks participated in strike in the erstwhile Nalgonda district. Long queues witnessed at ATMs to withdraw money in three districts due to nationwide banks strike.
At the same time, people are going to face problems due to serial official holidays. As a part of strike bank employees staged protest demonstration before the banks in erstwhile Nalgonda district on Friday.
