Hyderabad: A Tripartite Memo of Settlement was entered between the management of SCCL and Telangana Boggu Gani Karmika Sangham (Recognised Union) before Dr KKHM Syam Sundar, Dy Chief Labour Commissioner (Central) on three demands here on Thursday.
In connection with the structured committee meeting held at C&MD on May 15 and director (PA&W) level meeting held on May 8 on the agenda items submitted by TBGKS (Recognised union) C&MD N Sridhar, directed to constitute a committee with representatives of management of SCCL and TBGKS (Recognised Union) to visit CIL and study the issues related to cadre schemes. Accordingly, the committee constituted visited CIL and studied the cadre schemes prevailing in CIL. There upon, further discussions were held by the committee before Director (PA&W) and after a series of discussions the management and the recognized union has come to an understanding to enter into a tripartite settlement under Section 12(3) of ID Act, 1947 on the following 3 issues before Dy CLC (C) Hyderabad.
By this Settlement, about 1,200 employees will be benefited by getting promotions earlier than the existing provisions resulting in additional financial impact on the Company by about Rs 3.6 crores per annum. Speaking on the occasion, S Chandrasekhar, Director (P,A&W) & Director (Operations) while informing that this is a historical agreement arrived on 3 important issues thanked N Sridhar, C&MD, SCCL, for his valuable guidance in resolving the issues raised by the Recognised Union amicably. He thanked the representatives of Recognised Union also for their cooperation in holding discussions in a cordial atmosphere.
From management side, S Chandrasekhar, Director (P,A&W) & Director (Operations), A Ananda Rao, General Manager (Personnel)/IR, PM & RC, A Kumar Reddy, AGM (Personnel)/IR Wing, T Suresh Babu, AGM(IE), Kavita Nayudu, DGM (Personnel)/IR Wing, and other officers participated. From Recognised Union, B Venkat Rao, President, Miriyala Raji Reddy, General Secretary and other representatives of union participated.
