Nalgonda: The State government’s decision of exempting vehicles from toll tax at toll plazas on highways in the State including erstwhile Nalgonda district on January 13 and 16 for the convenience of people to celebrate Sankranti festival helped them during their to and fro journey from Hyderabad to their native places.

Implementing the government order, on Wednesday, the staff of all toll plazas in erstwhile Nalgonda district, including Panthangi and Gudur toll plazas in Yadadri-Bhongir district and Korlapadu and Alagadapa toll plazas in Nalgonda district, were only confirmed to noting down the vehicles passing through the toll plazas without collecting the toll.

Vehicle owners and commuters of both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh expressed their thanks to Telangana government for their kind gesture of exempting toll tax.
