Tarnaka: Research for Resurgence Foundation, along with its team of sponsors, academic partners and knowledge partners, will be hosting a three-day ‘International Conference for Development Discourse (ICDD 2019)’ at the National Institute of Nutrition (NIN) from Friday.On February 8, an interactive session will be held with new research aspirants on inquisitiveness and flowering of ideas in the morning session. ‘Guru Sanman’ and a cultural programme will be held in the evening.

On Saturday, Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu will formally inaugurate the ICDD 2019. Eminent educationist Dr Aniruddha Deshpande, Dr Sacchidanand Joshi, the Member-Secretary, IGNCA, & Chairman of RFRF, Prof Suresh Kumar, VC of EFLU, Prof Appa Rao, VC of UOH, Dr Hemlata, Director of NIN, would attend it. The ‘event’ would gear up society in general and academia in particular for conceptualisation and support execution of development through churn discourses.

Research contributions from nationwide scientists will be presented and discussed in five parallel sessions. There would also be a key session on ‘Bharatiya roots for development discourse.’ On February 10, the plenary session-3 will begin with parallel theme sessions by NAAC, MGNCRE, EFLU, NIN, IGNCA to emphasise their respective roles in process of development. It would see important interactions among all scholar delegates. The valedictory function would be graced by Rajeev Kumar, the Vice-Chairman of NITI Aayog. Governor Maharashtra will be the chief guest.
