Khammam: “The fruits of science should be available to everyone,” said DRDO Scientist Venkat Reddy during the valedictory of the Science Week celebrations held at Lakkaram Tank Bund.
Science Week celebrations organised by Jana Vignana Vedhika came to an end on Thursday. On the occasion, a seminar was held at Kavitha Memorial Degree & PG College where Dr Venkat Reddy addressed the students.
He said that science desires progress and it was sad that some people were using science for destruction. He appealed to the young people to develop curiosity towards science and appreciated the JVV for organising the science week.
Vedhika State vice-president Nageswara Rao, JVV district secretary Shiva Narayana, treasurer Purushotham and district member Ramakrishna participated and addressed the students.
