Malkajgiri: Based on the instructions of Election Commission, a meeting was held with representatives of political parties to discuss voter lists, polling arrangements and other issues at Malkajgiri circle office on Thursday. Representatives of the political parties proposed arrangement of additional polling centres, as many of them had more than 1,400 voters, which was against the election norms. The representatives proposed election officials to add 27 additional polling centres to the existing 379. They appealed officials to conduct voter enrollment camps at every polling centre on Saturdays and Sundays as more people can avail the opportunity.

DC Venugopal urged all the people of Malkajgiri circle who were eligible to vote to enroll themselves. Tahasildar Geeta, BJP representatives Ramkrishna, Srinivas Reddy, TDP leaders Chandrashekhar Rao, Srinivas, CPI representatives R Krishnamurthy, P Chandraiah, T Yadaiah Goud and others attended the meeting.
