21 persons selected for 'TSR Ugadi Puraskarams'

Rajendra Prasad to be conferred 'Viswa Visishta Nata Praveena' title Visakhapatnam: Dr T Subbarami Reddy Lalitha Kala Parishad would present 'TSR Ugadi Puraskarams' to 21 people who excelled in different fields and 'Viswa Visishta Nata Praveena' title to cine hero Rajendra Prasad at a function to be held on the RK Beach on the occasion of Ugadi on April 11. The list of awardees was released by chief coordinator D Varada Reddy here on Sunday. The awardees include DV Subba Rao (senior advocate), Dr SV Adinarayana Rao (sports), Dr M Madusudanababu (medical), Gollapudi Maruti Rao (writer, actor), IVL Sastry (music), Dr Meegada Ramalinga Swamy (stage play), Dr D Surya Rao (literature), Dr Dakshina Murty (teacher), Khasim Mehdi (social service), AP Choudury (industries), Bhagavathi (singing), Lakshmi Mahanthi (dance), Satyanand, Ch. Padmaraju (Kabbadi), K Srinivas Chakravarti (Kho-Kho), S Gopalakrishna (volleyball), C Pratap Kumar (athletics), Capt. DV Reddy (football), Ch. Narasinga Rao (sports journalist), Dr Ch. Srinivasa Rao (writer) and PV Satyanarayanamma (music). A dance ballet 'Sri Srinivasa Kalyanam' would be presented on the occasion. Rajya Sabha member Dr T Subbarami Reddy would preside over the function. Local ministers, MLAs and others would attend.
