Funds collected on Flag Day
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the funds collected will be used for the welfare of the ex-servicemen and also for the widows of the soldiers.He said that the funds given by individuals and organisations during fund raising programmes for the Flag Day will be exempted from income tax as per the 80G section.
Karimnagar: District Collector Sarfaraz Ahmad inaugurated the fund-raising programme organised by National Cadet Crops (NCC) students of various educational institutions on the occasion of Flag Day here on Wednesday.

Regional Sainik Welfare Officer Lt Col K Praveen Kumar urged the people to make the Flag Day a successful by giving more funds to the funds raising programme.Sainik Welfare Officer J Anuradha, Senior Assistant M Sagar Rao and NCC Officer Lt Col R Sanjeev were present along with others.
