Mancherial: District Collector RV Karnan said that anganwadi teachers should inculcate practical teaching and encourage the children to learn through fun and frolic. He visited the ongoing training programme for anganwadi teachers at Government Zilla Parishad School here on Friday, along with the Director of Center for Development Research Manohar Prasad.

The Collector said that children can learn from meaningful images, that is why lessons should be taught with limited vocabulary and with more pictures. "We successfully implemented teaching of English language through Mavanate, Mavasade schools in agency area of Utnoor in association with CDR foundation. In the same way, anganwadi teachers should teach English with practical examples," he suggested.

CDR Foundation Director Manohar Prasad said that the teachers play key role in the development of children.

Welfare officer Rauf Khan, regional coordinator of women and child welfare A Saroja, CDR foundation staff, anganwadi activists and teachers were present on the occasion.
