Hanamkonda: BJYM Warangal rural district leaders and activists have staged a dharna at Warangal Rural District Collectorate here on Friday, demanding the State government filling up of vacant government posts. Prior to staging the dharna, the BJYM district president C Kiran Reddy led a protest rally from Ekasila Park to the collectorate, where the protestors submitted a memorandum to the District Collector Prashanth Jeevan Patil.
Speaking to presspersons, the BJP Warangal rural district president A Ashok Reddy accused the ruling TRS of deceiving the youth by not issuing notifications towards filling up the vacant posts. The notifications issued were also caught up in legal wrangles troubling the unemployed youth. The Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao, who during the elections promised to fill up one lakh posts after the TRS assumes power, failed to deliver the promise. Instead of giving jobs, the CM wants the youth to become shepherds by distributing sheep to them, he noted.
The party state official spokesperson A Rakesh Reddy felt that the governments was just limiting itself to statements in releasing job notifications and on the other hand was withdrawing notifications released. He demanded the CM to make a statement in the State Assembly on job notifications and direct the TSPSC to release an annual job calendar on the lines of UPSC. Steps to offer Rs 5 lakh loan to nearly 15 lakh unemployed youth registered with the TSPSC must be taken immediately.
