Inaugurating the Wardhannapet MLA Aruri Ramesh’s office-cum-residence, constructed with an outlay of Rs 1 crore here on Wednesday, the ministers said the government will support the MLAs, who were striving for the development of their constituency.

“Since its inception, Telangana is cynosure of all eyes as the government worked out huge number of welfare and developmental programmes,” Srihari said, referring to the huge success of Mission Kakatiya and pipeline project - Mission Bhagiratha.

He said that farmers in the State will get 24-hour power supply from new year, and Rs 4,000 per acre as input subsidy from next kharif. One lakh acres in Wardhannapet constituency will get irrigation facility after the completion of SRSP Phase-II, he said. Srihari said that funds are no constraint if the local authorities acquire two-acre land for the construction of junior and degree colleges at one place.

Tummala Nageswara Rao said the government has allocated Rs 30,000 crore for the development of roads in the State and Rs 10,000 crore for the upgradation of national highways. He assured funds for the development of roads in Wardhannapet constituency in the next budget.

Warangal Urban District Collector Amrapali Kata, who is in-charge of the Rural district, said that all the roads are being developed with funds of Employment Guarantee Scheme. MLA Aruri Ramesh, Palakurthy MLA Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Commissioner of Police G Sudheer Babu were among others present.
