Peddapalli District-level competitions for young artists on Dec 5
The artists must showcase their skills in various art forms, advised the District In-charge Collector S Prabhakar Reddy releasing the pamphlets of district-level selections of young artists here at his chamber in the Collectorate in Peddapalli on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion the In-charge Collector S Prabhakar Reddy said that competitions were conducted in various art forms as part of District level selections of young artists on December 5 under District Youth and Sports Authority here at Amarchand Kalyana Mandapam from 10 am in the morning.
“The candidates who are in between 15 to 29 years of age belonging to Peddapalli district are eligible to participate in the competitions. Participation certificates will be given to every artist along with selecting the best performer who stand first in the competition for State level competitions,” informed the Collector. The Competitions will be conducted in Classical and folk-dance forms (Solo and Group) Classical and Folk songs (Solo and Group), playing of musical instruments like flute, drums, veena, elocution in English and Hindi and several other art forms, said the Collector.
The interested candidates must come with their own instruments to participate in the competitions along with photocopies of their Aadhaar card and birth certificate and must enroll their names before participating in the competitions at said venue, added the Collector. District Sports and Youth Officer K Rajveeru, District Educational Officer Venkateshwar Rao and the District Public Relation Officer G Veeraiah were present.
