DGP inspects Sundilla pump house, Manthani police station

Sultanabad: Director-General of Police Mahender Reddy inspected the Sundilla pump house and project works near Siripuram in Peddapalli district under the Ramagundam Commissionerate limits on Friday. Later he said his visit was intended to know how the police were ensuring the welfare of the people of Bhupalapally and Peddapalli districts by moving closer to them and to assure the local residents that they could bank on the police set-up.
The DGP told press persons that he had inspected the Manthani police station as also the Sundilla barrage. “If the Sundilla Barrage works, as part of the Kaleshwaram lift irrigation scheme, could be completed expeditiously, as also other projects, the State would become flush green. Since these projects benefit the people, the local police and officials are ensuring that there are no law and order problems and the works go on uninterrupted,” he stated.
Reddy said that the police have been advised to provide total protection to the engineering and revenue staff as also workers.
