Mancherial: District Collector RV Karnan on Monday received about 250 representations from public as part of Grievance Day.
The representations concern land dispute in Mandamarri mandal, payment of compensation to 250 displaced persons in Ramaraopeta of Jaipur mandal, correction of name in land records (pahani) in favour of Baddi Rajamma, payment of wages for the past eight months to the widow of Potula Sudhakar, who died in a boat tragedy at Mulkala on Maha Sivaratri Day.
Sudhakar’s sister Vijaya also sought joining order to her brother’s widow, who has been working on contract basis in the absence of joining orders.
