The Hanamkonda police station, the first of the three Smart and Model police stations coming up in Warangal Police Commissionerate area, got underway on Monday. The Commissioner of Police G Sudheer Babu, inaugurating the model PS, said that the government is striving hard to provide better facilities to the police department.

The Commissioner of Police G Sudheer Babu, inaugurating the model PS, said that the government is striving hard to provide better facilities to the police department.
“Better infrastructure necessitates police to serve people better,” the Commissioner said. The PS, which has a look and feel of a corporate-style office, is equipped with a reception, staff room, dormitory, command control room, gym etc. Warangal West MLA D Vinay Bhaskar and a host of senior police officers were present.
