Hyderabad: The founders and mentors at St Peter’s International Residential School have always nurtured their students with values which have made them conscious human beings and yet again they proved so. ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’, a campaign which has brought about a distinct change in your society was promoted and demonstrated in the form a rally by the students of class IX as a part of their International School Award activity at Maisammaguda.

The students were filled with sheer confidence and marched ahead with pride voicing slogans like portraying Kalpana Chawlam PV Sindhu, Mother Teresa, Lata Mangeshkar and many other prominent women personalities’ in an outstanding skit presented by them followed by a colorful dance performance exhibiting the glory and pride of being a girl. The boys displayed their regard towards girl child by painting their faces. The rally was concluded by an extremely superlative speech by the Vice Principal Toji Jose and some eye opening and matured ideas presented by Preetham Reddy and Githika Burra. The rally indeed was a spectacle.
