WhatsApp launched its WhatsApp Business application in India last year, but until now the application was limited to Android users. Now, the application has also started to launch to iPhone users. As with the Android version, WhatsApp for iOS can also be downloaded for free from the App Store and comes with all the same features.

Users get a business profile with WhatsApp Business for iOS. They can share details about your business, including the description, email or address of the store and the website. They can also respond to customers using tools such as quick replies, welcome messages and absence message functions. It also includes verified profiles. You can also access WhatsApp Business from the web.

In addition to India, WhatsApp for iOS is also available in Brazil, Germany, Indonesia, Mexico, the United Kingdom and the United States. It will reach more countries in the future.

"Whether it's an online sweet shop in Ribeirao Preto, Brazil that closes 60 percent of its sales via WhatsApp Business or a cinnamon roll company in Tijuana, Mexico that credits WhatsApp Business for allowing it to open a second location, small business owners all over the world are using the app to grow. We're excited to bring the WhatsApp Business app to even more small businesses and hear new stories about how it's helping them succeed," the company adds.

For those who do not know, WhatsApp Business is built on the same platform as WhatsApp Messenger but with additional features.

WhatsApp has been in the headlines since the last days to introduce some new features designed to stop the spread of false news. The company presented Checkpoint Tipline where users could know if the shared news is true or false. More recently, the company launched a new feature that gives users the ability to approve the request sent by others to join a group.
