Redmi Earbuds S Launched in India at Rs 1,799

Xiaomi has disclosed the Redmi Earbuds S in India, two weeks after it launched Mi True Wireless Earphones 2. The Redmi Earbuds S cost Rs 1,799 and are more reasonable when compared to Mi True wireless earphones 2 is priced at Rs 4,499.
The Earbuds S is IPX4 rated for water resistance, and each bud weighs around 4.1g. On one charge the earphones can run for four hours, and when combined with the additional charges provided by the charging case, it lasts up to 12 hours. The dimensions of the headphones are 2.67 cm x 1.64 cm x 2.16 cm.
The device comes only in black and makes use of Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity. Each bud has a lithium-ion battery with 43 mAh capacity. The Redmi Earbuds S needs approx 1.5 hours to charge fully. They offer a wireless range of 10 m (in an unobstructed environment).
The charging case dimensions are 6.2 cm x 4 cm x 2.72 cm; the battery capacity is 300 mAh. The case gets fully charged in nearly two hours.
The Earbuds S is compatible with all Android, iOS, Mac OS and Windows devices with Bluetooth compatibility. Pairing can be done by taking out the buds from the charging case concurrently and waiting for 2–3 seconds. This makes the earbuds to connect with each other automatically. Turn on Bluetooth on the device to be connected, and when the indicator of the left or right earbud blinks white slowly, search for 'Redmi Earbuds S' on the device.
Whereas, the True Wireless Earphones 2 offer almost 14 hours of battery life and will provide up to 4 hours of usage by charging once. They support LHDC and have Bluetooth v5.0. True Wireless Earphones 2 comes with dual noise cancellation microphones.
