Design

The Redmi K20 Pro impress us with a new all-glass design with Gorilla Glass 5 on front as well as back. Xiaomi is also offering a free hard case.

The Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro is a compact and lightweight handset. It has an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a pop-up camera can be called as a premium phone. The device comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port at the bottom. It is a dual-SIM smartphone but doesn't support microSD card.

Display

The Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro brings the best displays in this price range. This is the first Redmi phone to offer an AMOLED panel. The Redmi K20 and K20 Pro offer the same display of 6.39-inch Full HD+ resolution and 403 PPI pixel density. It is a delight to use for gaming and watching movies.

Camera

The Redmi K20 Pro brings an impressive flagship-grade rear camera. A triple-lens camera module with EIS and PDAF. There is a primary 48MP Sony IMX586 along with secondary sensors--13MP wide-angle lens with 124.8° FOV and 8MP telephoto with 2x zoom.

The selfie lovers will love the 20MP pop-up camera, which delivers decent images for social media usage. In case you happen to drop the phone while clicking an image, the pop-up selfie camera automatically retracts.

The Redmi K20 Pro brings excellent video recording capabilities but doesn't support external mics for audio. If you are planning to record videos for TikTok or YouTube, then this is undoubtedly a problem. It supports 4K video recording at 60 FPS and 1080P slow-motion video recording at 120 FPS, 240 FPS and 960 FPS.

In this price range, Redmi K20 Pro is one of the most powerful smartphones in terms of performance.

The Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro is powered with the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor with a maximum clock speed of 2.84GHz. The device comes with Adreno 640 GPU and with 8GB of RAM. It offers gaming features that improve gameplay while playing PUBG Mobile and other games.

It runs MIUI 10 based on Android 9.0 Pie OS. The handset comes packed with bloatware, but you can uninstall them. It would help if you disabled the advertisements but they can pop-up any time.

Battery

The Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro is powered by a 4,000mAh battery with support for 27W fast charging. It offers a free 18W fast charging adapter out-of-the-box and users will have to get the 27W charger separately.

When we consider battery life, the device easily lasts for a day. If you are not using it for gaming, the phone will easily last for more than 30 hours. It needs more than an hour to get fully charged.

Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro is available in two RAM and storage options. It is one of the most powerful smartphones available with the latest hardware in this range of price.

The Redmi K20 Pro is a more value-for-money option at Rs 27,999. This is the most affordable smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, and there is a difference of Rs 5,000 between the base variants of OnePlus 7 and Redmi K20 Pro. If you are looking forward to a flagship, then this is your best bet under Rs 30,000.
