172 minors booked for driving
As many as 172 minor boys were booked for driving vehicles in violation of MV Act Rules.
Hyderabad: As many as 172 minor boys were booked for driving vehicles in violation of MV Act Rules.
The cases were booked during a special drive conducted by Hyderabad Traffic Police on 22nd and 23rd April. While 69 minors were caught in West/Central Zone, 60 minors were caught in East Zone and 43 minors were caught in the South zone.
The repercussion of minor driving and if any accident took place was explained in detail and also explained about other violations. The boys were made to take an oath for not repeating the minor driving. The parents have been requested to take an interest in the safety of their children in order to improve the Traffic discipline in Hyderabad City.
According to police, the drive will continue for two months. Minors will not be allowed to drive the vehicle, without Driving License and all relevant documents will be checked for the safety of minor.
The Traffic Police solicited the cooperation of the public for the smooth and safe journey of children's in the city.
