25 Kasturba Gandhi Balikala Vidyalaya students fall ill due to food poisoning in Kodangal
As many as 25 girl students of Kasturba Gandhi Balikala Vidyalaya at Balampet village of Doulatabad mandal under Kodangal constituency reportedly fell ill after consuming unhygienic food on Monday.
Kodangal: As many as 25 girl students of Kasturba Gandhi Balikala Vidyalaya at Balampet village of Doulatabad mandal under Kodangal constituency reportedly fell ill after consuming unhygienic food on Monday.
It is said that on Sunday, the students were provided chicken curry along with rice. After consuming the chicken, the students complained of stomach-ache and vomiting.
As there were no one during night in the KGBV hostel to take them to the hospital, the students with the help of local villagers informed their parents, who later visited the school on Monday and shifted the students to the government hospital for treatment. "The chicken curry was unhygienic because of which we developed stomach-ache and vomiting.
The authorities are not providing good food to us," alleged the students. Meanwhile, the parents have demanded action against teachers and those responsible for providing unhygienic food.
