Hyderabad: An infant was found abandoned in an isolated place at Nandavanam Colony under Meerpet police station limits on Thursday morning.
According to police, the body was wrapped in a plastic bag and dumped in an isolated place in the Nandanavanam area.
Police found the abandoned infant while patrolling in the area on early hours on Thursday.
The body was shifted to the Osmania General Hospital and police are verifying data from hospitals in the area on recent births.
They are also verifying CCTV footage to identify the persons.
