Actor Varun Tej escapes unhurt in Kottakota
Famous Tollywood actor Varun Tej met with an accident on National Highway 44 at Rayanipet village near Kottakota at around 9 pm on Wednesday.
Kottakota: Famous Tollywood actor Varun Tej met with an accident on National Highway 44 at Rayanipet village near Kottakota at around 9 pm on Wednesday.
Varun Tej along with his friend who was heading towards Bangalore from Hyderabad, on reaching Rayanipet village of Kottakota mandal of Wanaparthy district was suddenly struck by an Indica car that crossed the NH44 without any indications.
The Audi car in which Varun Tej and his friend were travelling was hit and fortunately they escaped unhurt as the air bags opened as soon as the car met with the accident. Both the cars are badly damaged. "We were struck by an Indica car that came suddenly crossing the highway without any indication. Fortunately Varun Tej along and his friend have escaped unhurt," said the car driver of Varun Tej.
It is alleged that the 3 persons inside the Indica car were drunk and drove the car rashly without following any indicators. The Kottakota police have reached the spot and registered a case.
