Secunderabad: In the month of August, Amazon has decided to provide employment opportunities to ex-servicemen and their spouses. Considering their services for the nation and their sincerity towards work, Amazon extended helping hand to the families of retired soldiers.

Director Colonel Ramesh Kumar was informed about the company's decision, who sought applications from interested candidates. About 100 people applied for the jobs. 20 candidates were selected through interview.

Ramesh Kumar congratulated Amazon company for supporting ex-servicemen and their family members by providing employment. He called upon other corporate companies to come forward to provide jobs to ex-servicemen.

Regional Army Welfare Officer Srinesh Kumar Nori thanked Amazon company for providing work-from-home jobs and virtual customer support (VCS) jobs to ex-servicemen. He said that Amazon had expressed readiness to employ more ex-servicemen in future. He urged corporate companies to provide employment opportunities to retired soldiers who fought for the nation risking their lives.
