Anganwadi workers released a wall poster urging the people to go on a nationwide strike on November 26 after staging a protest in front of the ICDS Project Office at Madnur mandal headquarters on Monday.

Champabai and Anasuya urged workers, employees and teachers to make the nationwide strike against the anti-people policies of the Central government a big success. They alleged that in the past 2,400 people were recruited every year for civil service jobs but now the Modi-led BJP government at the Centre was not recruiting more than 700 new civil servants. They warned the Central government to stop attacking labourer, unorganised workers, farmers, weaker sections of people and the democratic system of constitutional rights.

Anganwadi teachers and Ayas from Jukkal, Madnur, Bichkunda and Pedda Kodapagal mandals in large numbers took part in the protest in front of the ICDS project office at Madnur.
