State BJP chief spokesperson Krishna Saagar Rao reveals that over 400 Aadhaar cards in the State are lined up for deactivation as they were procured through fraudulent documentation

Hyderabad: BJP Telangana unit chief spokesperson K Krishna Saagar Rao has demanded Telangana State government to respond and explain on UIDAI notification of Aadhaar cards alleged fraud and irregularities in the State.

In a statement, Rao said that Unique Identity Authority of India (UIDAI) has declared that over 400 Aadhaar cards in Telangana State are lined up for deactivation as they were procured through fraudulent documentation.

"The BJP holds Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and his government responsible for criminal negligence in handling Aadhaar cards processing in the State", he said.

Many media reports are highlighting that citizen identity cards such as Pan cards, Aadhaar cards and Ration cards are 'up for sale' in Telangana State, especially in the old-city area, which BJP believes is under complete control of Owaisi brothers and less of the State government.

The BJP leader said the party feels there is a structured conspiracy behind a sudden upswing in applications for Aadhaar cards and other identity cards in Telangana State, especially from old city in the backdrop of impending CAA & NPR implementation in the State.

AIMIM seems to be playing a huge role in this conspiracy. The party also wondered why Hyderabad MP Asaduddin is so rattled by the UIDAI notification and also said the BJP considered Aadhaar card fraud issue as a serious threat to national security and cannot be considered unimportant or routine violation.
