Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee working president Ponnam Prabhakar on Friday criticised the BJP leaders for being overenthusiastic and dreaming that the party would come to power.

Addressing the media, he said the BJP should tell the people what help it extended during the past five years for Telangana State and should seek votes.

He said the BJP did not have the authority to preach morals to the Congress. He recalled that the BJP had forfeited deposits in 105 seats in the Assembly elections.

He challenged BJP leader Muralidhar Rao to contest from Karimnagar Parliamentary constituency if the saffron party has the support of people.

He said that former MPs K Kavitha and Vinod had been defeated in Nizamabad and Karimnagar for their failure and it had helped the BJP win those seats. He said the BJP had won just six ZPTCs in the polls to local bodies.

He alleged that the BJP and the TRS are hand in glove. The BJP is working under the direction of TRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao.

He said the nexus between BJP and TRS had been exposed as the saffron party did not object to early elections to the State Assembly.

He said that no one would leave the party and those left were the scrap. He said that the BJP is a B-team of TRS. He said a day would come when the BJP office would be locked up.
