Hyderabad: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) welcomed the High Court's decision seeking Labour Commission's intervention to resolve the RTC employees strike issue in two weeks.

In a press statement issued on Monday, BJP State chief spokesperson K Krishna Saagar Rao stated that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's approach towards RTC employees strike was both undemocratic and unconstitutional.

The BJP expressed its strong dissent in the way the State government has been treating employees of RTC for the last nearly 50 days, he said.

No democratically elected Chief Minister will act with such vengeance on economically lower end labour sections and submit an affidavit to the High Court that his government will not hold any talks with the RTC employees on strike, Krishna Saagar Rao said.
