Vikarabad: District Education Officer Renuka Devi asked the managements of schools to create awareness among the students to use clay idols for the Ganesh Chathurthi festival. She held a meeting with correspondents and members of managements here on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, the DEO said, "We can contain pollution by using clay idols." TRSMA district president K Narsimhulu, secretary Nagaiah, joint secretary Ramachandriah, treasurer Venkat Reddy and others were present.
