Church pastor murdered in Hyderabad

In a gruesome act, a church pastor brutally murdered here on Saturday near Masid Banda of Kondapur. The victim was the pastor of a church in the Housing Board colony of Anantapuram.

The police rushed to the spot and inspected the spot. They suspected that the land dispute might have led to the incident. Further details are awaited.

In a similar incident, a temple priest was killed by an imam on November 2, 2019 at Warangal. Devunoor Satyanarayana (70) was a priest at Sai Baba temple near Pochamma Maidan junction.

The priest was assaulted by the Imam who asked the former to turn off the temple speaker. He was later assaulted by the imam. Satyanarayana died while undergoing treatment at NIMS in Hyderabad.
