Congress flays KTR for making false claims over Nalgonda development : DCC President Shankar Naik
District Congress Committee president Shankar Naik fired salvos on Information Technology Minister KT Rama Rao over his false claims, and added that KTR was once again trying to woo the people of Nalgonda with his sugar-coated words during the Bathukamma sarees distribution in Nalgonda on Monday.

Addressing the media in Nalgonda, he said Nalgonda town was developed during the Congress tenure. Nalgonda former MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy paying special attention to development of Nalgonda has Mahatma Gandhi University, paved way for construction of flyover bridge, underground drainage, laying of CC roads and construction of houses to poor, he said.
"Nalgonda failed to see any development under TRS government rule despite it was adopted by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao," he added.
He added that TRS would not win Huzurnagar seat even by spending crores of money and by engaging Ministers and MLAs to every villages in the constituency.
He exuded confidence that Congress candidate Padmaavthi will win the seat with a minimum majority of 30,000 votes. "TRS ignoring Telangana martyr Srikanth Chary's mother Shankaramma allocated party ticket to a rich person Saidi Reddy with a malicious intention of winning the seat through backdoor methods," he alleged.
