Cool-jackets distributed to traffic police

Karimnagar: To combat severe heat in summer, Commissioner of Police VB Kamalasan Reddy handed over cool-jackets to traffic police here on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, the CP said the traffic police are rendering better services from the last two years. Keeping in view of that, they were given cool-jackets, which will decrease temperature up to 3 to 5 degrees and will help the traffic police to perform their duties perfectly even in summer season.

He lauded the Karimnagar traffic police for successfully implementing the usage of helmets in the city. Karimnagar traffic police are the only one, who achieved this across the State. Rewards will be handed over to the traffic police for the good work they did. Behave politely with the public and give respect to them while speaking with them. Address them as 'sir', and use 'please', 'thank you' and such words whenever necessary, but do not use harsh words against them, he suggested.

The CP said that after Hyderabad, Cyberabad, Rachakonda Commissionerates, Karimnagar Police Commissionerate is heading forward in all departments. The cops were strictly told to refrain themselves from taking bribe and not to involve in corruption. Traffic ACP KRK Prasad Rao, Inspector Sita Reddy, SIs Swamy, Naresh and Ch Sagar were present along with others.
