The SP said that the police officials must use the latest technology and ensure that the long-pending cases are investigated at the earliest. She said every police station must adopt the new changing system and try to implement friendly policing.

Expressing concern over the growing number of accidents in the district, she directed the police officials to identify the accident-prone zones and take appropriate action to ensure no accidents take place in these zones.

She also directed the officials to implement the 'Nee-Nestam' programme and urged them to receive complaints from women and girl candidates and provide them justice at a speedier pace. She also urged the police officials to conduct awareness camps on a regular basis so as to create awareness among women that the police were there for their protection and encourage them to approach police station in the event of violence and harassment against them.

Wanaparthy DSP Srujana, Suryanayak, CI Wanaprthy, Venkat Rao, CI Kottakota, Shankar, CI Atmakur and other police officials took part in the review programme.
